What's the LEAST amount of money you've paid for a slab?

After winning a CLink auction for a Hercules (1982) #1 CGC 9.4 with a bid of 7$. I was wondering if anyone else ever bought single digit priced graded books? I mean, isn't the slab itself probably worth more than 7$?

Why people get such random issues graded is beyond me... And then we wonder why CGC is always backed up. It's like going to the ER when you catch a cold and gumming up the health care system
