It did... you mean you haven't seen Mick's time machine? He built it our baling wire, an air-conditioner case, electric tape, chewing gum and an old Apple Lisa, and it works AWESOME.

A couple more and the first one is a cover recreation and I don't own

it and just copied it off e-bay. It is Beautiful.

 

 

And one more that's not a DC or SA, but another Incredible piece of

Russ Heath's art. <3

Great thread.....some super nice books here too!! Have any of you seen the new Joe Kubert biography book thats out? I'm just getting started on it....but it looks really good !

I just wanted to give another plug for this book. I'm almost 100 pages in now....and its FANTASTIC !!! Its full of info on the beginings of not only Kubert.....but the comic book industry and all the names and companies who tried to make a go of it in the late 30's and early 40's. If you love golden age......or Kubert....or both....you owe it to yourself to get this book.
