Amazing Spiderman 1 and 100

These 2 books are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

 

First up ASM 1. I finally found an affordable copy but still think I may have overpaid a bit.

 

How would you grade it? Staples are firmly attached to cover and centerfold and book is complete. Only hidden defect is that there is a jagged 3/4" tear on top of where piece is missing and there are 2 pieces of vintage tape on inside front cover. Bottom staple is rusty at centerfold.

 

ASM 100. Book is nice. Only thing is ULC on front cover has a small impact on corner. Looks much worse on scan than in hand. Slight stress top staple.

ASM #1 = 1.0

[Point Five]

Yep, I'd go along with 1.0 on the #1...maaaybe a weak 1.5. Even so, it's a friggin' ASM #1, and not the worst-looking Fair out there. Congrats on the pickup!

 

Scans a bit small on the #100, but nice overall, just a bit of spine wear/dirt and that ding on the corner. I'd guess 7.5/8.0 range.
