Where to shop?

2 posts in this topic

I was wondering where do people generally shop for Copper Age books? I am always looking for Speedball books and they do come up on eBay but they are rarely mint (usually called VF and end up being F at best).

I always hear that there are literally thousands of copies of mid-eighties books out there in really high grades (but not graded). Is this an exaggeration or something of a truth?

eBay, and keep an eye on the Sales forum section (which has infinitely better grading). There aren't really too many places out there other than a LCS as a decent source.

Something of a truth. There are 'warehouse' copies out there. Chuck R. of Mile High Comics is mostly known for having these, although a few titles are growing more elusive in really HG.
