Seriously, his prelims are great. Actually, they really shouldn't be called prelims as they are the finished pencils. It's my understanding that Norem (and other painters like him) would take the finished pencils and use them as an actual guide to painting. The pencil does line up line for line with the painting and is the size of the painting.
