Here's part of my loot from the always surprising monthly Boston show put on by Larry's Comics. Saw GACollectibles and DlCKPontoon. The biggest surprise was seeing Chuck Rozanski blowing out the stock of a dealer he just bought out. Lot's of sweet, sweet, HG BA, most a buck a book. My only complaint about the show is the lighting. I missed some flaws that were immediately obvious when looked at in different light.

Anyway, here's what I picked up. The average per book cost was about 1.40.

The was tons of late BA DC in Chuck's boxes. If I had the time, I probably could have picked up tons more in super HG.

Instead, I tried to pick up as much early '70's DC's I could find. This gem has some sweet retina-burning gloss.

Some decent Shazam's:

Some Tarzan's:

Always loved this Chaykin cover, never wanted to spend real money on it:

Some more HG Kirby goodness:

Some other DC stuff:

Marvels and Gold Keys to come.

What was amazing about these is that I was late to the party. It had been a feeding frenzy for a while, so who knows how many great books left the room for a buck a piece.

Now for the Marvels:

Some early direct distribution (yeah, yeah, let's not have this argument again).

A couple of Two-Gun Kids (I think DlCKPONTOON may have found the best ones before I got these ):

Two of my favorite BA covers ever:

And some other goodies:

And some Disney Gold Key fun. It's amazing what you accidentally find out from your kids when they get older. I never would have known that my daughter liked, or even knew about, Super Goof if I hadn't brought these home.
