Now we're up to date, just looking for #44 and beyond... of course, your personal copies of any of the previous books would also be a thrill to see. (thumbs u

I wouldn't call that low grade, Fay. I've got a number of books in my collection that just felt like after you called your copy there "low grade". :sorry:

Sorry Andy... :sorry: I wish I could hang with the Big Dogs like Mick,

Thanks Fay. That was an ebay purchase back in the days when these books were still relatively cheap and the buyer pool was much smaller. I miss those days. :(

I miss those days too, Jeff... though I have noticed that there are more deals these days than in the past year. After taking an ebay sabbatical over the fall, I've moved back in picking up a book here and there.

The biggest miss I ever made was an ubroken run of OFF from #50 to #95 in an average grade of VF. The lot went for $380... this was back in 2002. I thought that was a TON of money, but in retrospect LESS THAN $10 A BOOK!!!!!!!!!! And they looked like nice copies.

If I can find a clean FN of a Gunner n Sarge books for a 10 spot these days, I dance a jig!

Hey Guys, I'm glad to join the Action...

This is my Variant edition #44 with the German soldier peeking though the pier. :baiting:

Dang! If it didn't have the rip in the front, bad spine, gloss loss, half the back cover torn off and stress lines everywhere it would be a solid NM. Rock Solid 9.4-9.6. :makepoint:

Agreed, post them anyways, Fay! :headbang:

I'm working dayshift today and can't post pics from work.

I really shouldn't dance a Jig either until I get out of the office.

It is a beautiful sunny day in Vancouver today and I'm only wearing a shirt

and jeans and spent most of the morning out in the yard. :acclaim:
