I don't get it the scanner I have does awesome on raw books but when it comes to scanning CGC I can't figure it out...must be the plastic used to slab these things

That's exactly what happens on my scanner. Scans of raw comics come out great but slabs suck. I use my upstairs scanner for slabs and they're a little better off of there.

I'm using an HP C4240 & work great just not with slabs ... :cry:

 

I also tried to use the digital camera but I keep getting that extra glow on some part of the book(s) but maybe I'll just stick to raws for now... :boo:
