What Are Your COLLECTING GOALS for 2009?

For 2009 I would like to:

 

1. Finish my Iron Man run

 

Okay, this didn't happen but I have another year to commit to doing it. So, here's to 2010!

 

2. Complete my office/comic room (wall mural project in mind)

 

I was going to completely redo my comic room/man fort, but it is now occupied by two midgets. With that, I am still laboring over completing my new man fort out in the garage. 2010? Yeah, we'll see.

 

3. Buy many more cheapy slabs

 

I did good on this (thumbs u

 

4. Have my comic project completed before ECCC

 

Okay, so this project was replaced with another and that project I did do. Smashing success? not so far, and maybe that will change.

 

 

5. Keep on having tons of fun with comics!

 

This is a no-brainer - I read a lot of great books this past year.

 

EDIT: 6. Start submitting books to CGC.

 

Okay, so this didn't happen. My excuse is...well, I don't have one and here's to 2010 being the year.

 

7. This is going to be for 2010: Buy a couple of Dave Cockrum file copy books.

3 Golden Oldies with a classic cover

 

I got the Showcase 22, but should have bought it before the movie hype. I picked up several clasic GA books. No FF 4 or JIM 83. I picked up an AF 15 instead!!
