I wish I had some books in this number range scanned so that I could contribute. Thanks to everyone that's keeping the thread alive.

HAR! A freight car loaded with kryptonite. That must be the peak of DC's "kryptonite is so common that every shoplifter in Metropolis keeps a chunk on his key chain" phase.

The entire planet Krypton must have flung its fragments directly to Earth. Maybe Roy Thomas explained how in a 12-part mini-series.
