Sweet Batmobile cover!

Detective Comics #266 is one of those wonferfully color variant issues. The Batmobile can vary from a rich dark blue, as in this copy, to a bright purple.

 

I agree #266 has one of the most stunning Batmobile covers of them all!

It's another Unnecessary Exposition Classic!

 

 

 

Possibly the peak of the Superman extended cast gimmick covers as the Atomic Age was giving way to the Silver Age. Nicely composed, interesting colors. I do have a soft spot for Krypto's original goofier look. If only Supermonkey were there!

Amazing Spider-Man 266

Not bad at all. You've got to give the writer credit for a sense of humor on this one -- self-parody of some of Marvel's lamest villains.
