Stupid question du jour: What is 'foxing'?

OK - I give. I consider myself very knowledgeable about grading and I'm VERY picky about what gets into my collection. BUT I do NOT know what 'foxing' means. I'm sure whatever it is I appropriately classify it as a defect, but I'd like to know for sure. Little help here?
