Got that right.....!! I will want to see some pics too.....!! ahhhh......Redondo Pier......the lights......the sound of the waves......the smell....... ;)

Back in our early-mid 20s, they used to have a place there called the Polynesian Room...and you could order this drink called a Scorpion which was a lotta rum/liquor/fruit juice/etc. in a big clamshell for $10 bucks...and they'd give ya these straws that were like 2-feet long...

 

Well we'd always smuggle in a half-pint (or two) of Bacardi 151 and dump that into the mix as well...believe me, with 4-6 people sucking on 2 of those we would walk out of there beyond hammered...we were always lucky to make it back to the cab station and not fall off the pier and drown... :devil:
