Batman #682 - Variant Or 2nd Print???

A mate of mine picked up the Tony Daniel Batman #682 variants from his LCS on the day they were issued, one for him and one for me as my LCS does not do variants. He noticed inside both books that they state they are 2nd prinings. I didn't think they'd release a 2nd print on the first day of release, and especially not one with the variant cover.

 

Then I found this on eBay. I haven't been able to find anything out about this issue having any printing errors, just wondered if anybody else knows anything about these??
