Do you stick with any certain date range with your collecting?

10 years ago I collected Silver then sold them all and now collect mostly GA

 

But I still do SA and BA because I am completing the Detective and Batman runs (nowhere close yet though)

I don't own a single DC book in my Private Collection.

I collect mostly X-men books so I am limited mainly to Silver, Bronze, Copper and modern. Apart from X-men I collect a number of modern books. I haven't wuite ventured out to GA but I hope to get some at some point

Right now, it's mostly Copper and Modern. I will be branching into Bronze when I can finally decide exactly what I want to focus my collection on. I am kind of all over the map in my collecting.

Typically gold, silver, and bronze. But since the price ranges are so different, most if my gold are incomplete, silver is low grade, and the bronze is high grade.

I don't collect based on ages. I collect based on titles mainly.

For everything other than Marvel, I collect 10 cent cover issues only. With Marvel, I collect up to 1964. My very favorite are late atom age/early silver age DC (1953-59) and the Marvel issues before the Marvel Comics logo (1961-63).
