Since CGC 9.6 copies have been selling for $32 to $38 on eBay and Heritage, are you looking only for a raw copy or is this for long-term storage and encasement would be okay?

 

Appears to have tight corners, sharp spine, and bright and clean front and back cover. Looking from the back cover, it's that rounding of the upper-left hand corner and the tiniest of blunting to the upper right-hand back corner that would keep me going any higher than a 9.4/9.6 copy. A very nice copy!

BTW, here is a recent CGC 9.6 sale on bay that you can judge this book against.

Now that I went back to your pictures to look at that back cover, instead of the bright white it should have it appears a tiny bit tanned. I'd be more comfortable going with a 9.4 copy.

Im working on a high grade run of Eternals i now have the full run, all of them at least 9.4-9.6, i was just thinking about picking this up, i already have 4 copies of #1.

 

I think i will pass on it.

The corner rounding by itself is enough to ensure it won't reach a 9.6 - so if that's the grade you're looking for, I'd pass on this copy. I picture this coming back from CGC in a 9.2 label, to be honest.
