I believe this book (Target #5) was just up for sale during the recent Heritage auction. I believe it topped out somewhere around the mid to high $20K's. Appears to be a lot cheaper than the Target #7 which went for $57,500.

 

I just find it hard to believe that this book got a NM+ grading with the stamps, bleed-through, and other defects. I guess Heritage must really get the benefit of the doubt from CGC.

 

I've seen GA 9.2 and 9.4 look quite abit better than this. Actually, going through the Heritage catalogues, I am ALWAYS surprised at how lenient CGC seems to be with them. IMHO

Was sold on ebay as a CGC 9.2 for cheap with that date stamp recently.

 

What a joke...buy the "scale labels" is all I can say.

 

How inconsistent can they really be??? Huh?

How come there's no notation that there's a date stamp on the front cover? I had an ASM # 3 with a barely noticeable stamp on the back cover, but it got noted on the description.
