Mark Wilson of World's Finest Collectibles (PGC Mint) used to have this art in his catalog. Not sure if it was on consignment from Mark Miller or not. May have been published around FF #8. It was also part of a house ad in Str Tales #95 Apr. 1962 which is 1 month before Hulk #1 cover dated May, 1962.

Did he sell it as "earliest FF art known?" The idea being that this was done very early and then used months later? I've seen art from FF 3 which was obviously on the stands earlier, but this was produced before that?

maybe he just doesnt know about earlier artwork. Ive seen pages from #5, too.

I think Mark Wilson did promote the Kirby FF promo art as earliest known at the time. Think it was listed for about $5k-$8k a few years ago in his catalog. This was a mountain of $$$ at the time for a 1/3 tier cut panel of art.

About to ship off an aluminum wombat to a loyal forum member. Used 1/2 a roll of sturdy Canadian duct tape on that 7 ft, 6 inch box. Duct tape also good for taping up the rust holes on the sheetmetal to my car.
