With big name artist doing a Mad Magazine like Arthur Adams, Michael Allred, John Byrne, J. Scott Campbell, Dave Gibbons, Jim Lee, Frank Miller, and John Romita, Jr.

No, that was one of the criteria when they came out with mag grading. I just can't remember where i saw it. There was a list of what they would grade and what they wouldn't grade. They only grade MAD 1-15 in the mag holder.

Not true. Mad #1-15 are comic book size and have already been graded, and #24 and up are magazine size and are being graded by CGC and put in the magazine holder.

 

EC moved Mad from comic book to magazine form in order to avoid censorship and the harsh guidelines of the dreaded comics code authority
