woregul
Turtlemania silver in Pedigree June auction. http://www.pedigreecomics.com/auction-detail.php?issue_id=36923 It's strange that I could not find another link from the Pedigree site to this auction. It is not listed when you look at the Grand Auction listings. Is this copy owned by a boardie? Edited May 15, 2013 by woregul
rich_TMNT
Yeah, that's weird that you can't find this Turtlemania via search on Pedigree. That seems odd...I wonder if that's an old outdated link for a book no longer available? How did you originally find it?
pubmonkey
I'm very impressed with all the Turtle related items that are being shown off here. Thanks to all for sharing their personal treasures

That seems odd...I wonder if that's an old outdated link for a book no longer available? How did you originally find it? I did a Google search for Turtlemania silver 2013 and got this page. When you look at it, it looks like it is going to be part of the June auction, but I think I misread it and that is just part of Pedigree's page template. This is probably just wishful thinking on my part. I have not seen a silver edition on sale anywhere in a good while.
rich_TMNT
It is weird that you don't see Silver editions more often that we do given there were 100 of them. hmmm...just a thought...I'll trade you my Silver for your Gold and you can see one whenever you want

spracknetch23
Anyone know any kind of recent sales figures for the #3 "Laird's Photo in white" error comic? I haven't seen a sale in forever. I was thinking about selling mine, which is a raw 9.2 - 9.4.
woregul
Based on previous raw sales I have seen plus GPA, I would say around $600-$800 for raw and a little more for slabbed. GLWTS if you decide to do that.
PeasOfCrap
For those who do not visit the Signature Room often, here is another opportunity with an early Mirage Studios great! http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6708221#Post6708221
pubmonkey
anyone know how many #3's are out there with a double cover? I know of 4 that I have personally seen and I think it is very common...
rich_TMNT
I don't know how many there are but it is a common error for #3. I have one of them.

Turtle
This post is a little late, but I've had a pretty busy couple of months. I did get the opportunity to fly in to the FCBD signing events featuring 4 of the guys from Mirage Studios (Eastman was across town). Jim Lawson, unfortunately, was sick and couldn't make it. Bummer. I got to get a lot of books signed. Among them were the very cool variants that Jetpack put out along with the early issues of the new IDW series. It featured some great Laird artwork that I didn't think I'd ever have a chance to get signed (notice the "rare" 2008 inscription on the #2 below. It's rare since the book didn't come out until 2011 ): Peter Laird, Steve Lavigne, and Eric Talbot were SO gracious and signed a HUGE stack of books for me. They were there signing well past the advertised signing times. Thanks again, guys. You made me one happy TMNT fan!
rich_TMNT
Nice stuff !! Did Peter have a momentary lapse when he signed "2008" on that one?
