So, in your opinion, what do you guys think is the equivalence of Dr. Who(popularity and longevity) here in the States. (shrug)

 

Star Trek?

 

probably the closest. Battlestar Galactica? Older show that had a successful reboot

So - I at least got the coach and hotel booked for Birmingham this year.

Going by train? I so want to take a train somewhere(not Amtrak if I can help it), but the wife doesn't think it would be fun. :(

 

Wanted to but it was so expensive, so taking the bus instead.
