Fantastic Four #1 and #2 COVERS! Amazing Fantasy #15 complete story!

I don't know if any of you have checked out the recent Marvel Masterworks softcovers of ASM vol. 1 and FF vol. 1 but the ASM has a high res copy of each page from AF #15 that's now in the Library of Congress and FF vol. 1 (which just came out this week) has high res copies of photocopies of the original art to the covers of FF #1 and #2! The photocopies are clearly old copies that must remain in the Marvel vaults but the hi-res scans are perfect. It was REALLY cool to see the photocopies which show all of the details of the originals. Who knows if the originals still exist, but this is certainly the next best thing!

 

Apparently each volume of the Marvel Masterworks softcovers will come with special additional bonuses like these.

Thats very generous of Marvel. They could have milked those hi res scans of AF15 OA for all they were worth. Who here would not have bought a limited edition hard bound copy of those scans in large art format for instance?
