Here is my "overstock" I'd like to get rid of. Scans available on request (there are quite a few books!) and the first " " posted publicly takes precedence, although PM offers are accepted. I can send up to 5 "raw" comics in a well-protected Priority Mail envelope for $5.50, more than 10 or 12 will go into a PM Flat-Rate box for $10.50, and anything in between will be boxed and in the $6-9 range. I am open to Media Mail, as my PO doesn't inspect boxes - if yours does, please do not blame me for any additional postage incurred - and I will get an actual shipping charge to any buyer who wants this method after the sale is final. Any CGC book is sent via Priority ONLY - one will go for $8 or so, two for $9, more will go into the Flat-Rate box for $10.50. Insurance is optional, $1.50 up to $50, and $2.50 for anything after that. I try and ship books out the next day after a purchase, two days maximum. I take PayPal as well as money orders or cashier's checks; all pertinent info will be sent via PM. Most of these issues were bought by me while working at my LCS, so they are cherry-picked from the best, and have never been read or even opened!

Chin up mate. It can be tough to sell cheaper books b/c folks have to spend enough to justify the shipping. And yeah, pics will help... maybe some digital photos of the graded books and lots at least? I've been doing that for some cheaper items where condition isn't a big issue (group digital photos dropped into photobucket) and I find it goes faster than scanning. Anyhow, don't take it personally.

yes, it's shipping on cheap books that scares people off. there's certainly some desireable stuff on the list once you hit the early valiants and such. needless to say, paying $5.50 to ship 5 of those later valiants doesn't make a lot of sense.

 

i've had a brute of a time selling $1 or less type books here, probably for this reason, even though most of what I was listing was 1999 - present type stuff, not the glut books from the early 90s. it would take a lot of listing and effort to sell $20-$25 in books.

 

you're probably better off simply filling up a flat rate box with this sort of stuff and selling the comics + shipping for $5-$15 more than the cost of shipping. someone here does that quite frequently, but it couldn't just be the overprinted early 90s valiants and marvels, etc.
