Charlotte Comicon - Sunday March 29th First show of the year

20 posts in this topic

:news:

This is our 8th year for running the Charlotte Comicon and we appreciate all the help the local shops, dealers and collectors have done to make the show grow and become as popular as it has become.

And this is the 20th year that I've personally been running shows in the Charlotte area.

So......with the economy the way it is, Dave and I have decided to do something for the local community.

We are going to have a charity raffle to give away a 1st print Spider-Man # 583 Obama variant - CGC 9.8. Tickets will be sold for $1 each and the drawing will happen at 3:30. All proceeds will be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

Please come on out and enjoy the show and let's all give something back to the local community.

Look forward to seeing you too Arex.

I'm sorry. I had meant to ask Dave yesterday about the wireless internet and forgot.

According to the hotel website they do.

Check Internet Options under At a Glance.... near the bottom of the page

But let me check with Dave too as somebody at one of the last few shows inquired about this.

Not really sure. I would imagine the keys are low to mid grade. But the later books may be better.

I've known him for years and to be honest with you we've usually talked more about his GA books.

He does have a complete Batman collection ....well I think he still needs a #1?

The pleasure was all mine. I was even able to pick up three books that I had been trying to find for some time. At an excellent price too, I might add. (thumbs u
