Here's the second book I picked up today from the same collection the Detective 333 is from. I just love the covers from this time in Detective.

 

Here's the skinny on what you can't see:

 

 

Brilliant cover gloss and REALLY deep colors.

Off-white to cream pages.

Newsstand fresh smell on this one too.

Centerfold well attached at both staples.

Water damage ULFC and UPBC does not extend into the book.

Water damage triangle to ULBC extends 5 pages in and decrease in size as it goes.

 

There you go folks. Go at it and grade!!

The water stains and the cream pages would get hammered if this was sent into The CGC for grading. Even though it presents very well. I would have to say 4.0 Possible 4.5 In hand. IMHO

I would call it a 5.0. I've heard that water damage is hammered almost as badly as a missing piece of the same size (which sounds kind of lame). That book looks nice.
