I think it might have something to do with the rusty staples. I for one will avoid books with rusty staples

Yes, a slight smell and rusty staples are not good. The 129 got CGC'd and sold.

If people want books to move, they usually price them at half guide value or less. Also, rust on staples is one of the worst things that can happen to a book, along with a funny odor, is making potential buyers' spidey-sense tingle. IMO

 

Lots like a good reader lot though. If it wasn't for the rusty staples, I'd be all over this. They are the issues I need.

I understand, I understood before I posted them. I have sat on them for a year trying to figure out how to get anything out of them for my Uncle. Eventually someone will make an offer or I will get low enough to spark interest.
