mid grade OO Amazing Spiderman run 121-193 but....moth ball odor...

37 posts in this topic

I am trying to sell my uncle's run of Amazing Spider-man's. They are mid-grade for the most part.

The problem is when I started taking them out of their bags, they have an odor, kind of like mothballs. Some are sronger than others. CGC does not note odor or grade based on it, but outside of a slab or mylar, they do have an odor. I waited a year not wanting to try to sell them but its time to try.

I'll take it wins: :takeit:

Shipping is by USPS Priority mail, flat rate envelope or box. I like to use a double reinforced box that I get at work that fits about 20 comics. Shipping is easy. If you need a quote, I'll be happy tp give one.

My zip code is 27295, the white box weighs 8 oz / 1/2 lb, comics are about 2 oz each, do the math and use the rate calculator.

Hope to get them listed over the next three nights.

Are the pages super white? many times I've notice some other books with the moth balls smell to have exceptional page quality.

hmmm..not sure they are super white but they are nice pages for the ones I just looked at, no creams.
