Question regarding magazine collector boxes

Hi,

 

I've been an avid forum reader for quite some time, but havnt registred until now. I'm currently trying to get the upper hand on a medium sized collection of norwegian comic books, and figured I'd use regular magazine holders for the arrangement.

 

Those things come in a variety of materials tho. I've been checking out some wooden holders which look quite neat and have solid, clean surfaces. The material is nonthreated, compressed birch. Item can be found here:

Any expert opinions on how suited these would be, would be greatly appreciated : )

Might be cheaper and better storage to just use CGC boxes. Bit like long boxes but wider - I use them for my 1970's magazines.
