Can anyone give me a ballpark estimate on what Vess covers go for?

 

I know price depends on what the cover is, so here is some info:

 

NOT superhero

Not very detailed but it is a published cover

Not from his fantasy works

The cover is like a hodge podge of various strips he's a fan of

Hmm, Is this a specific cover you are refering to? Either way, it sounds a little more minor, so it could go anywhere from $1000 to $2000. Is it painted? I have one of his covers but it is exceptional and I paid more for it. It seems you want to be discreet, you can PM me if you like.

Sorry, but that is just not enough to go on. You're going to get a lot of opinions, some totally off-base. If you don't want to name the specific cover, then don't expect to get anything more than a total guess when it comes to value.

 

Your best bet is to check CAF Market Data and compare the piece you're after to other Vess pieces that have sold recently. Who knows, maybe the piece you're asking about is in there. Good luck!

He also charges $10K for a commission IF he accepts your request.
