Is CLInk being too harsh on John Byrne's anatomic rendering skill?

Had to laugh at this listing/description. If you look at the image, though, it almost makes sense.

I like Byrne but I usually cut-n-paste in my mind a better headshot on the Thing...usually a George Perez (inked by Sinnott) drawing.

What are the odds that a wrong description of a book from 1952 would be applicable to another book from decades later?
