After using the standard Itoya binders, I recently picked up the Itoya Multi-Ring portfolio. I find that I prefer this over the standard Itoya since it gives you the flexibility to remove or add pages. This is particularyly useful to me as I like to group my art alphabeticially by artist. Now I dont have to worry about leaving blank pages in anticipation of an expanding art collection. I simply add a new blank sheet where needed.

I am definitely going to have to slowly transition over to these new portfolios. I "have to" keep my pages in alphanumerical order and you wouldn't believe how long it takes to shift everything if I buy a page from an early issue. And I like the idea of having one portfolio dedicated to a complete issue without leaving a bunch of pages blank.

Thanks for the tip (thumbs u

Yeah, that might be the sweetest custom collectables storage I've ever seen. I remember something a little like that in high school drafting class in my 80's high school, but it was all metal amd not as cool. hm I wonder if i could find one of those down the road.

Oh lord, this means I'm going to have to work faster to trim down my collection of comics if I'm going to have room for things like this... .. . .....

Umm, anyone wanna trade art for comics?? lol

It all depends on the comics. :baiting: I'm sure there are some here who would be willing. And if you use the Itoyas, framing places have little corner pieces that are archival safe to help hold your art in place.

Nice tip, I didn't think about that, but it makes sense to keep them from flopping around.

Oh, and I'm letting go of a large number of comics, so if anyone has any wantlists, and is willing to part with Valiant, Flash, Doctor Who, MOKF, Howard the Duck, or any other Kung Fu.... keep me in mind. ;)
