Which is better?

Which is the better/more collectable version of marvel comics from late70's/early80's?

 

The versions with the barcode's on in the little left hand box, or the one's with spidey's head or full body on?

 

Or are they just the same?

 

Which do you prefer?

I don't like the bar coded ones, as I find them somewhat ugly. Prefer the Spider-man head direct editions. I don't believe there's much of a price difference.

I prefer the bar coded ones. They're harder to find in high grade 'cause they were sold in non-comic stores unlike their direct market (spidey head) counterparts.

While there is no price difference that I am aware of,you have two choices,go with the better looking spidey head or the less common bar-code.In the future the bar-code may be more valuable as the rarer of the two.Or maybe not.Bar-codes in HG seem kind of scarce right now.
