What did you win in the current Comiclink auction?

I think its fair to say that with 76 pages of auction items (about triple what a C-Link auction like this typically has), there are going to be some bargains to be had.

I'm picking up 9.4 SA Marvels with White pages for way under GPA.... its pretty sweet. :cloud9:

76 pages?! Now that is crazy for a prospective buyer as unlike Heritage where you can take the time to scan through the auctions and track books, I didn't like that ComicLink doesn't have the same feature so I can keep an eye on just the books I want.

Have they changed this at all? If not, then I can see why their prices did not do as well. They killed prospective buyers with way too much content.

I think its the sellers who probably feel a little short-changed. 76 pages is a lot to sort through (believe me, I know)...its over 3,500 certified books....but you throw enough "garbage" lowball bids and a few are bound to stick. Normally though, they stick on the 8.5s with CRM/OW pages, not on 9.4s with White pages, which makes this auction a little different so far.

I'm also seeing that the later Silver/early Bronze Avengers in high grade have really quieted down, especially in comparison to the February auction. Of course, the Focused Auctions tend to not draw out the bidders like the Featured Auctions do, so its possible that's contributing to some of the fairly mundane prices.

I'm just waiting for the avalanche of supply that has hit the market to subside, or at least bottom out...downward pressures on prices are going to continue until that tide ebbs...sadly, that might not be happening anytime soon.

Quite a bargain indeed ! :applause: One of my favorite Batman covers, I had an eye on that one, if I didn't already have a solid 8.5, I would have bid on that one too

I was going to bid on that, but figured it would go too high. Such a great cover conrats on a beautiful Tec' ! (worship)

the only book I won, cost me $60 more than it was previously offered "for sale" for, in the exchange... a bonehead move on my part, for sure, not just buying it when I had the chance, but everyone loves a "bargain"...

You buy SA?! faint2.gif

Sometimes he runs out of his usual LSU branded toilet paper, and he's too lazy to go to the store...so a crummy SA comic will have to do. Read and wipe, read and wipe...
