iThe 100 Auctions - What Gives?

4 posts in this topic

I noticed an two-page color ad in the latest Overstreet for "The 100" Comic Art Auctions. It gives a web site address of www.the100auctions.com . If you go there it says "The Auction Launches Soon". Okay, I can wait, but if you look at last year's Overstreet, they have the same ad. When is "coming soon".

They show pictures of an impressive array of originals and say they are 'high exposure" and have "consistently set record prices". They list another name as "Nostalgia Investments" and a PO box in Marshfield MA.

Anyone know who this is and if they actually have art auctions?

He was planning on gearing up his auction beginning last fall and then the economy went to mess. So he figured he's wait it out a bit before launching with so much of his high end material. Makes sense to me.
