Armando Huerta Double Impact comics

Hello, I am sure alot of you guys remember those "Bad Girl" comics Double Impact, right? The first series came out with a chromium cover and it was the cool bad girl comic for a bit. Around 1996 I believe. Anyway, is anyone out there familiar with the later published Double Impact comics featuring titles like "Raw", and "Art Attack" published under the imprint ABC (Another Bad Creation)? Many of these contain interior art by the up and coming artist Armando Huerta and most featured his outstanding art on the covers. Of course most of these were extremely explicit and adult in content. But this art is outstanding, expecially the full color painted covers. It surprises me how few people even know that these Huerta books exist. I come across them every now and then on Ebay but never at conventions. If you are familiar with what I am talking about I would like to hear your thoughts about them. If you are not, then if interested seek them out as they are worth aquiring, although prices are starting to go up as Huerta is finally becoming more well known. In my opinion Huerta is a finer artist than Olivia and this guy is really worth checking out. If anyone has a nice stash of these books I may be interested in buying them. Thanks------Sid

Rob, yes he does and they are still under the Double Impact line however the "porno" books are his specialty. Most people do not know these things even exist. Not many comics have that high of quality art on the cover, let alone the adult content ensuring that most comic stores will have never even ordered any. At one time I had amassed about 200 of these books but have steadily sold them on Ebay and am currently down to about 10 or so. I would love to buy more though. Most people that see "Double Impact" just remember that original DI [!@#%^&^] but this Huerta stuff is simply stunning. there are many multiples to each cover and every book is better than the next. -----Sid

He's a really good artist, but I wish he'd ease up on the eagle shots and do more "regular" work.
