Nice eye appeal but the black background is showing everything.

I see a color breaking crease near the right edge, upper left corner looks soft, some spine creases, possible tears at the staples. Assuming the scan is exagerating everything, maybe an 8.0 at best, more likely lower.

No tears, just small tics and besides the soft ulfc that diagonal line is reflection or a scanner thing as nothing on the book.

Tough Cover! Though it seems to present better I will say 7 small tics + soft ulfc = 7.5/8.0 IMHO
