Is the Wolverine movie inappropriate for an 11-year old?

I dont have any kids but i wouldnt let an 11 year old watch this. Not too much on the cursing but still violent from beginning to end. Murder scenes , head shots , decapitation

At least it's not about the sex. Or nudity.

As long as 11/12 yr olds understand its CGI violence, etc...this movie is fine. There's violent, but no blood or gore, and no sex. You should be fine to take her to see it.

My wife and I were talking about what we thought would be the appropriate age and we were thinking somewhere around 13 or 14. In my opinon I would not take someone under 12 to it but then maybe my wife and I are a little old fashioned in what we think is appropriate for our children.

 

I remember when I saw the last Batman movie their were two kids there about 8 and 10 and they got pretty scared by the Joker and their parents had to take them out of the theatre to calm them down.
