What are the Best Months to Sell on eBay?

What do you guys think the best months to list items on eBay are? Personally I have noticed that April and May always seem to be my best months... I have also noticed that late December is a terrible time to list items on eBay (and I have on occasion received as much as 40% less for my auctions the last few weeks of December than I received for the exact same auctions when listed during other months of the year.

 

My main reason for asking this question is that I have a couple of high dollar books I plan to list on eBay at some point and I was wondering how long I should wait before this December lull is completely over. Are those of you that have taken these last few weeks off from selling on eBay going to start listing again now? Or are you planning on waiting until February, March, or April?

December is terrible. Always has been. I have ALWAYS had good sales in January and February, before the big convention season starts up. April and May are good - I go with the theory that if its cold and snowy, people stay inside.

Thanks! So would you say now is a good time to start listing again or would you still wait another week or two just to be sure the December lull is over?
