Not really

 

Some people will collect anything with Spiderman (character)

 

Some will collect anything from Marvel (comic company)

 

Some will collect only the Amazing Spiderman issues (title)

 

Each is a different way to collect

For me Storyline, Writer and Artist.

 

I am really surprised how few people have said storyline. It is only at 4%. Do people not read their comics. And if you do read your comics don't you buy stuff you enjoy reading?

 

I might be in the minority but reading pleasure is the number one thing that drew me to comics and has kept me as a collector. The only exception is a sometimes buy drivel if I want to complete a run (think the horrible spider-man comics put out during the Clone Saga).
