I'm glad you've said that. I love USM! In fact, it was the one comic that got me back into comic books 2 1/2 years ago. I had read X-Men and Spider-Man back in the early 90's but stopped around 1997, only to be drawn back in by USM. Curse you Bendis...you and your 6 monthly books!

I agree that USM read pretty well, up until the Kraven and Kingpin stories. At that point, I could almost feel Bendis losing interest, and mailing his scripts in.

 

I didn't mind the Kingpin so much....but including Kraven was utterly pointless.

 

It was nice to see Gwen again..... cloud9.gif

I'm glad you did.

At first I was put off by the air brushed type covers, which for some reason I cant stand, but when I read it I thought it was great.The art is good, and Bendis never fails with the story.
