This book contains the eight original Barbarella stories by Jean-Claude Forest rendered in monotint (a different tint for each story) - It's really quite exquisite if you haven't seen a copy. ;)

 

The dust-jacket displays a wonderful Pop-Art rendering of Barbarella in a Roy Lichtenstein Ben-day Dots/Pointilist style, also by Jean-Claude Forest. :cloud9:

We had a copy in our family library. Very cool stuff indeed -- much more interesting than the movie (although Jane Fonda was quite a dish back in the 1960s). :cloud9:
