Has anyone created or found an Excel formula or web site calculator that will help you choose whether to list something with the "free listing" option?

 

For instance it should be possible, based on your starting price and expected/anticipated sales price, to calculate the cost both ways so you can see which is the better choice.

 

Just want to spare myself the brain strain if this has already been done! :insane:

How about a breakdown for the free listing vs. the Fixed Price option?

 

It appears that the free listing option is good only for auctions, not fixed price items.

 

Right, but if you simply list them at the Buy-It Now price, it seems it might be a better option. Risk no money, and the fees paid should be lower in some price ranges if the book does sell.
