What the heck is the White Rose Collection?

It's not a pedigree, it's a provinance, like the "Nicolas Cage" or "Overstreet" books are. I'm hoping to get a proinance of my own someday.

I think it's a collection Heritage bought directly and just gave a name to. That's how all pedigrees originally get named, but some turn out to be more memorable than others. I've got an FF 23 from the collection, but the little certificate they gave me gives no background at all about it.

It appears to include modern books as there are a few "White Rose" designated moderns in this Heritage auction.

I won a Dark Knight Returns #2 9.6 from heritage a little while back that came with a "From the White Rose Collection" certificate...I promptly tossed it out when I sold it...

 

I may as well be putting "From the Ar-Aich Collection" when I sell any of my newstand purchased books...
