Masamune69
Well...I say someone bid on it before he cancel it and decide to keep it. And be the 1st on the planet to pay quadruple-guide for a SC #22 Sounds tempting to me Great upgrade for you...but some small risk on grade and PQ, but maybe an upside potential too. Now only if you can see in hand to make the call. It's a tough call. My other book's a 4.5, OW/W, so it's VERY close. If resubbed and nothing changed, it's only a .5 bump in grade and a drop in PQ. I was really hoping for a 6.0 You're kidding right? 4.5 to 6.0. +

showcase22gr1959
Some...compare SC22 and GL1 and AF15 and AMS1. First appearance will always be more demanded. (thumbs u
Boba
Some...compare SC22 and GL1 and AF15 and AMS1. First appearance will always be more demanded. (thumbs u That's an apt comparison. Interesting that Marvel didn't continue to use AF as it's "showcase" for new super-heros. I agree with what Richard says, that the first appearances are more sought after. In fact, I think Spider-Man #1 suffers from it not being anything more than the first time Spidey appeared in his own title, and not the first appearance ever. kimik
ASM #1 did have a bit of a spike with the movie, and I think (and hope ) that GL #1 in 7.0 will do the same as well. It is funny - a couple of years ago you could find a 7.0 or better GL #1 no problem but now the supply has dried up. There are only a few sales listed on GPA from the past 6 months - a 6.0 copy of GL #1 sold for $1250 in January 2011, a 6.5 went for $1350 in Novebmer 2010, and the last 8.5 went for $5100 in December 2010. The 4.5 copy in the last Clink auction ended up at $860, which is a fairly nice price. FWIW, GL #1/JLA #1/Flash #105 in 6.0 or better are decent books to grab now. They will pop sooner or later as well once the SC #4/SC #22/B&B #28 triumverate get a bit too pricey.

SA DC key's prices and supply dwarfs Marvel, so I would think so. Now, Batman and Superman is back in the limelight, the DC enterprise is going out in full force.
