SOME input on this would be great.here's the info: small spine slit taped at top( 3/4 inch)... looks like glue along the entire back spine...not sure tho...as well as the back corners?...also LOOKS LIKE A BAD TRIM JOB on the TOP...whats the thoughts? grade as well as resto advice....trimmed? thanks...

Apparent 2.0 (glue, top edge trim, color touch) is my guess... maybe 2.5 A, but not sure how pervasive the spine glue is inside.

 

I'm curious what the glue is doing there at all, given that the staples appear to be OK. Is the cover glued to the book?

the glue is there for no reason that i can see.....

its only on the back,and slightly on the bottom spine...outside the book only...almost like a protective thing years ago??? its not needed....

Yeah, I don't see any reason for the glue either...very odd. 2.5 IMHO

Does look trimmed and glued up but I would go with 3.0
