Top 20 GA Comics - Relative Scarcity

Metro has a copy of the 15 cent variant Bat #2 on their site (fr/gd w/ tape on spine) for $1k now. The 3rd copy extant?

So now we know: 3 copies known to exist, 2 with restoration, 1 FR/GD with tape on the spine. I notice the FR/GD copy has the same yellow streak mine has. Seems to confirm the theory, they must have been near each other in the print run.

if two out of the three 15 cent copies has th eline and th eothr doesnt, it must have been a loose piece of 'stuff' that sat on the magenta plate blocking the ink from hitting the paper. ....and then was removed or dislodged (if it was there from the beginning) or landed on the plate at some point while the press was running.

I think I agree that Flash Comics #1 is relatively common. It does seem as though there have been a good number available recently, on eBay, Heritage, and ComicLink.

What if the copy listed on eBay, Heritage, and ComicLink were one and the same.

I reckon Rex the Wonder dog 1 is scarcer than Batman and Superman (although a lot later). Just don't think thet deserve to be in the top 20 rarest at all, top 20 most valuable yeah, but not scarcity!
