What are the rarest SS books due to the death of the signer?

47 posts in this topic

Not to be macabre, but there are a lot of other creators that everyone might be interersted in that have gone to the great beyond with some SS books (or maybe not):

Creig Flessel

Dave Stevens

Drew Hayes

Stephen Hughes

I believe there are less than 10 creig flessel. I own 1 and know where 4 others are

Dave Stevens did not sign any for SS

Drew Hayes to my knowledge did not sign for SS either

Stephen Hughes died before CGC existed.

Are there any signers that are rare because they hate signing books?

(this rarity has happened before with certain celebrities that hated giving autographs)

Like I said, I don't know much about SS books.

One guy that is notorious is David Mazzuchelli. Supposedly, he threw a monster hissy fit about slabbing at one point. One of the old guard probably knows the whole story.

I know that story it is really bad. therefore I think CGC tells witnesses to avoid the mazz

- Dave Cockrum: Somewhere in the range of 30-40 have been done.

I wouldve thought there would be a slew of signed Cockrum books!

Stan has signed more books than God . . .
