I sent off a Ultimate X-Men #1 eight years ago,I thought it would get a 9.4 and it came back a 9.8.I sold the book so I'm pretty happy with the grade it received

Hulk 181 that I bought from Mile High as a Fine (6.0) and came back a CGC 8.0.

 

Darn, I still miss that book.

That's really good considering the source.

 

Too bad MH's Fine price is equal to true NM price. So, in the long run, you're still down some money.

MY Sub-Mariner #1 and ASM# 86 that I expected as 9.4's, had them 3rd party pregraded at 9.6 and got CGC 9.8 slabs....

I had it for a couple of years before I slabbed it. But you're right, I only made a little $$ on that compared to what I paid.
