Is ACETATE 'art' collectible?

I have been looking through the acetate production art that is for sale on ebay, and saw a couple pieces that looked interesting. Most of it is inexpensive, do any of you feel it is collectible?

Do you think it's actually vintage, and was really production art?

The seller does not seem to have much info about what he's selling...
