I actually can't remember which thread I'm posting in because they all end up looking the same.

 

 

The ones actually about comic books seem to stay on topic for a bit longer. But once you get past 3 pages it has unraveled.

Every thread is exactly the same by page three.

If you took away movies and the one grading company CGC, then we are looking at a much different landscape. This hobby would become much smaller, and would have less excitement. The movies make much of the excitement nowadays, while CGC helps sets the market for the value for most of the comic books.

 

If you took away the grading company and movies you'd still have a zillion collectors - and comics would be cheaper.
